Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 11, 2026
lixPresentr is Bible projection software published by Creativlix Technologies, based in Waterloo, Canada, which is responsible for processing your data. This policy describes what we collect, why, with whom we share it and what your rights are. It applies to the desktop app, the web app, the mobile remote and the lixpresentr.app website.
1. Data We Collect
Desktop Application
- Your content (verses, songs, playlists, slides, notes, settings) is stored locally on your computer. It is only sent to our servers if you enable cloud sync (Cloud plan).
- To manage the free trial, the app sends our servers a hashed (non-reversible) machine identifier and the trial start date, with no account or name.
- If you link a lixpresentr.app account, the app exchanges license information with our servers (account, plan, machine identifier, active computers) and the AI credit balance.
- The app checks for updates at startup with GitHub, which then receives your IP address as with any web request.
- Usage statistics are collected, as described in section 4.
Account and Web Application
- Account: email address, name, hashed password (or Google identifiers, see section 2), profile picture if provided, language.
- Organization and teams: church or organization name, invited members (email address), roles.
- Security logs: IP address, browser and date at each sign-in, and during API key operations, to protect your account from fraudulent access.
- Subscription and purchases: Stripe identifiers, plan, billing history, credit and content purchases. Your card numbers never pass through our servers.
- Synced content (Cloud plan): songs, playlists, templates, lower thirds, custom verses, transcription profiles, media.
Download and Contact Form
When you download the app or access the online Bible without an account, we ask for your email address, name, church name and, optionally, your role. This information is used to send you getting-started instructions, to support you during your trial and, with your consent, to send you our communications (see section 5).
Website Chat Assistant
The website offers an automated chat assistant. The messages you write to it are sent to OpenAI to generate the answer (section 3). We keep these conversations for 90 days, with no name, no email address and no link to an account (only the language and the page you were viewing are recorded), to improve the assistant's answers; they are then deleted automatically. Avoid writing personal information in it. If you click "Talk to someone", your conversation continues with our team through tawk.to, loaded only at that moment, along with the language, the page you are viewing and a summary of the automated exchange; when that service is unavailable, your email address and message are forwarded to us by email so we can reply.
How We Use Your Data
- Provide the service: projection, sync, licenses, AI credits, remote, remote operator.
- Authenticate you, secure your account and prevent abuse.
- Bill subscriptions and purchases through Stripe and send you transactional emails (verification, password reset, invitations, confirmations).
- Support you and improve the product based on usage statistics.
- Send you product news and offers, only with your consent (section 5).
- We never sell or rent your data, and we only share it with third parties to provide the service (section 3).
Data Retention
Your account data and content are kept as long as your account is active. After a deletion request (section 8), they are erased from our servers within 30 days, except billing records we are legally required to keep. Usage statistics are purged after 13 months. Conversations with the website chat assistant are deleted after 90 days. Security logs are kept only as long as needed to protect the account.
2. Google User Data
If you choose to sign in with Google OAuth, here is how we handle your Google data:

Data Storage
- Your Google data is stored in our PostgreSQL database hosted at Neon (see section 3), encrypted at rest and in transit.
- Authentication sessions use signed JWT tokens; no token is stored in plain text.
- We never receive your Google password: only the OAuth flow is used.
Data Sharing
- Your Google data is never sold, rented or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
- Stripe receives your email address only if you make a purchase.
- Resend, our email delivery service, receives your address to deliver our messages to you.
Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your account at any time by writing to contact@lixpresentr.app (section 8). Deletion permanently removes all your data, including data obtained via Google OAuth. You can also revoke lixPresentr's access from your Google account security settings.

Every message tells you how to unsubscribe (link or simple reply), and you can also write to contact@lixpresentr.app; requests are processed within 10 business days, in accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation.
- We never pass your address to third parties for their own campaigns.
6. Storage and Security
