Terms of Service

1. Parties and Acceptance

lixPresentr is published by Creativlix Technologies, based in Waterloo, Canada ("Creativlix", "we"). The publisher's website is creativlix.com.

By installing or using lixPresentr (desktop app, web app, mobile remote or the lixpresentr.app website), you agree to these terms. If you use it on behalf of a church or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

lixPresentr is projection software for churches. Depending on your plan, it provides:

• Bible verse display, in one or several versions side by side, on one or more projection screens (including NDI network output and stage monitors).
• Real-time voice transcription of the sermon with automatic detection of Bible references.
• Song management (CCLI SongSelect import, text files), playlists, media and lower thirds.
• A slide and template editor, animated backgrounds, and AI-generated sermon slides.
• A mobile remote, a remote operator mode and, with the Cloud plan, team synchronization.
• An AI Bible search assistant and a built-in store (template packs, backgrounds, Bibles).

3. Plans, Free Trial and Licenses

• Three plans are offered: Free, Pro and Cloud. The features and prices in force are those shown on the lixpresentr.app Pricing page at the time of purchase.
• The desktop app starts with a full 14-day Pro trial, no credit card required. When the trial ends, the app automatically returns to the Free plan; your data stays on your computer.
• A lixpresentr.app account is required for the web app, to subscribe, and to use AI features (credits). You can sign up by email or with Google, in accordance with our privacy policy.
• A license is attached to your account or organization and allows a maximum number of active computers: 1 on Free, 5 on Pro, 10 on Cloud. You can deactivate a computer from your dashboard to activate another.
• The Cloud plan allows a team of up to 10 members and includes 8 GB of cloud storage for your media. The organization owner is responsible for the members they invite.
• The license is personal to your church or organization: you may not lend, resell or share it with another organization.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

• Pro and Cloud subscriptions are billed in US dollars, monthly or yearly, through Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• The subscription renews automatically at each term until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; access remains active until the end of the paid period, after which the account returns to the Free plan.
• Unless required by law, periods already paid are not refunded pro rata. Contact us in case of a billing error.
• Prices may change. Any price change is announced to you by email at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal.
• Applicable taxes for your country or province may be added to the displayed price.

5. AI Credits

• Voice transcription, the AI assistant and AI slides consume AI credits. Credits are a balance separate from the subscription: no plan includes monthly credits.
• 20 credits are offered when you create your account. You can then buy credit packs through Stripe from your dashboard. A pack purchase is final; unused credits do not expire as long as your account exists.
• The consumption rate in force (for example 1 credit per 30 seconds of transcription) is published in the documentation. We may adjust it with 30 days' notice; credits already consumed are non-refundable.
• Credits belong to your organization and can be allocated among its teams by its owner.

6. Built-in Store

The store offers content that is free, included in certain plans, or sold individually through Stripe. Purchased content is a one-time purchase giving you the right to use it within lixPresentr, without time limit, for your church's needs. It may not be extracted, redistributed or resold. Delivered and installed digital content is non-refundable unless defective.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Use lixPresentr for its intended purpose: projecting and preparing worship services and church events.
• Not bypass license protections, machine limits or credit mechanisms.
• Not redistribute, resell, decompile or modify the application without our written permission.
• Not use the AI assistant or transcription to produce unlawful content, nor attempt to extract the models or abuse them in an automated way.
• Respect the copyrights of the Bible texts, songs and media you project.

8. Intellectual Property

lixPresentr, its code, interface, templates and brand are the property of Creativlix Technologies. Distributed Bible texts are in the public domain or used under the appropriate publisher licenses; some versions remain subject to their rights holder's terms. NDI® is a registered trademark of Vizrt NDI AB.

Content you create (slides, templates, notes, custom verses, playlists) belongs to you. You grant us only the technical right to store and sync it in order to provide the service.

9. User Content and Cloud Storage

You are responsible for the content you project, import or sync. You must hold the necessary rights to the texts, images, videos and songs used, including a CCLI or equivalent license for song lyrics. Content synced with the Cloud plan is stored with our hosting providers (see the privacy policy) within your plan's quota. We may remove clearly unlawful content after notifying you.

10. Availability and Third-Party Services

• The desktop app works offline for projection, Bibles, songs and media, and does not depend on our servers for those uses.
• Voice transcription, the AI assistant, the remote, the remote operator, cloud sync and the store require an internet connection and rely partly on third-party providers (speech recognition, AI models, hosting). We do not guarantee their uninterrupted availability nor the accuracy of AI results: always check the displayed verse.
• We strive to keep the web service available and may perform maintenance with reasonable notice.
• The desktop app automatically checks for updates at startup and may offer to install them.

11. Personal Data

The processing of your data (account, usage statistics, transcription audio, communications) is described in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

12. Warranties and Limitation of Liability

lixPresentr is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Creativlix Technologies shall not be liable for indirect damages, data loss or interruptions resulting from the use or inability to use the service, including during a worship service. Our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We recommend testing your setup before each service and keeping your own backups.

13. Termination and Account Deletion

You may stop using lixPresentr at any time and cancel your subscription from your dashboard. To delete your account, email us at contact@lixpresentr.app from the account's address: we confirm the request and delete your data within 30 days, except billing records we are legally required to keep. We may suspend or terminate access in case of a breach of these terms, after notifying you unless urgent.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these terms. The update date appears at the top of this page; substantial changes are announced by email to account holders. Using the service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Canada at Creativlix Technologies' place of business in Waterloo. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably shall be submitted to the competent courts of that jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you hold in your country of residence.
