Multi-Output

Overview

Manage multiple simultaneous outputs for projection: physical screens, NDI network streaming and stage monitors. Configure from Settings → Projection → Outputs.

Screen Outputs

Physical display outputs (projector, TV, monitor). Auto-detection of connected displays. Per-output template selection. Content source per output: Global, Bible only, Songs only, Playlist (the items launched from the Playlist panel), Lower-Third only, Preview (mirror of the operator preview) or Display Stage.

Since version 1.1.24, a stage monitor is simply an output whose source is “Display Stage”: its screen, its stage template and its Open / Close buttons are configured in the same place as the other outputs. Create as many as needed (speaker, singers…).

Since version 1.1.26, a screen output is usable as soon as a screen is assigned to it: its resolution is derived from the physical screen, with no width or height to type in (a custom resolution still takes precedence if you set one).

Dedicated outputs: guaranteed isolation

An output set to “Bible only” never shows a song slide or karaoke lyrics, even with several outputs open: the origin and kind of the live content are part of the state sent to the windows, and are written before the content itself. The same holds for “Songs only”, “Playlist” and “Lower-Third”.

The “Playlist” source is useful for a lobby screen or a secondary screen that must only show what you launch from the Playlist panel (verse, free slide, media), whatever page the operator is on.

Reopening at launch

When the app starts, the configured outputs reopen automatically on their screens, with their content source and their template — no need to relaunch the projection every Sunday. If no multi-output is configured, the projection screen chosen in Settings is opened instead.

An unplugged screen is reported, never replaced by another one: the other outputs open normally, and after a few seconds a warning lists the outputs whose screen could not be found. A screen that appears late (HDMI projector) is retried once. The “Reopen outputs at launch” setting is in Settings → Projection (on by default).

NDI Output

Network Device Interface — broadcast projection as video over the local network. Automatically discovered by OBS, vMix, Wirecast, NDI Studio Monitor. No installation needed: the NDI runtime ships inside the app, on Windows and macOS alike (since version 1.1.19).

Transitions

8 transition types between projected content:

• Fade
• Slide Left / Slide Right / Slide Up / Slide Down
• Zoom
• Dissolve
• Cut

Duration: 200-2000ms. Easing: linear, ease-in, ease-out, ease-in-out. Transitions apply to text only — background stays stable. Configure in Settings > Projection.
