Multi-Output

Overview

Manage multiple simultaneous outputs for projection: physical screens, NDI network streaming and stage monitors. Configure from Settings → Projection → Outputs.

Screen Outputs

Physical display outputs (projector, TV, monitor). Auto-detection of connected displays. Per-output template selection. Content source per output: Global, Bible only, Songs only, Lower-Third only, Preview (mirror of the operator preview) or Display Stage.

Since version 1.1.24, a stage monitor is simply an output whose source is “Display Stage”: its screen, its stage template and its Open / Close buttons are configured in the same place as the other outputs. Create as many as needed (speaker, singers…).

NDI Output

Network Device Interface — broadcast projection as video over the local network. Automatically discovered by OBS, vMix, Wirecast, NDI Studio Monitor. No installation needed: the NDI runtime ships inside the app, on Windows and macOS alike (since version 1.1.19).

NDI® is a registered trademark of Vizrt NDI AB. The NDI® runtime is redistributed under the NDI SDK license (ndi.video).

Configuration:

  • Source name (visible on the network)
  • Resolution (720p, 1080p, 4K)
  • Framerate (30 or 60 FPS)
  • Real-time FPS counter
  • Status indicator (emerald green when active)

Use Cases for NDI

  • Live streaming via OBS (capture NDI source)
  • Display on a remote screen without HDMI cable
  • High-quality recording of projection
  • Multiple outputs on different machines

Per-Output Configuration

  • Custom label (e.g., "Main Projector", "Balcony Screen")
  • Content source (Global, Bible, Songs, Lower-Third, Preview, Display Stage)
  • Template selection (projection template, or stage template for a stage monitor)
  • Display selection (screen) or NDI config (network)
  • Play/Stop/Close controls per output
  • Bulk actions: Open All / Close All

Transitions

8 transition types between projected content:

  • Fade
  • Slide Left / Slide Right / Slide Up / Slide Down
  • Zoom
  • Dissolve
  • Cut

Duration: 200-2000ms. Easing: linear, ease-in, ease-out, ease-in-out. Transitions apply to text only — background stays stable. Configure in Settings > Projection.

Note: NDI output is available only in the desktop application (Electron). The web version supports screen outputs only.
