Settings

Access

Gear icon at the bottom-left of the operator interface. All settings auto-save.

The Settings window contains six tabs: General, Projection, Audio, Transcription, License, and Cloud Sync. The Export/Import buttons (bottom bar) let you back up or restore the full configuration as JSON.

General Tab

Interface language selection (Français / English). The change is applied immediately across the entire app.

Projection Tab

Pick the main output screen from detected monitors, enable screen share (native capture in Electron, browser picker in web mode), and the Outputs section: multiple simultaneous outputs with screen, template and content source — including stage monitors (“Display Stage” source) — see the Multi-Output and Display Stage docs.

The “Respect reduced motion” setting (off by default) freezes animated backgrounds when the operating system asks to reduce animations. By default, shaders stay animated.

Audio Tab

Microphone selection from detected devices, test button, input gain and output volume sliders. Required for voice transcription.

Transcription Tab PRO

Transcription language (French or English) and mode: Automatic (shows the detected reference directly), Suggestion (proposes before showing), or Manual (transcript only, no auto-navigation). Pro plan only.

License Tab

Your computer's Machine ID, license key input field, Activate/Deactivate button, and status of unlocked Pro features. See the activation guide for the full procedure.

Cloud Sync Tab

Sign in to your lixPresentr account, view sync status (sessions, notes, songs, playlists), and trigger manual controls (sync now, force re-sync). Runs in the background once signed in.
