Song Library

lixPresentr provides access to a catalog of over 10,000 songs (OpenSong catalog). Search by title or lyrics to quickly find the song you need.

• Search by title: type the first words of the title to filter the list.
• Search by lyrics: find a song from a phrase or keyword in the lyrics.
• Per-song template selector: choose a different projection style for each song.
• ⋯ menu on each slide thumbnail: edit the slide visually, or hide / show it without deleting it (handy to skip a verse this Sunday).

Importing Songs

Three import methods are available to add your songs to the library:

1. Paste lyrics — Paste raw text into the editor. Sections (verse, chorus, bridge) are auto-detected by markers or text structure.
2. OpenSong files — Import files in OpenSong format, widely used by projection software.
3. CCLI SongSelect — Import .usr or .bin files downloaded from CCLI SongSelect. Metadata (authors, CCLI number) is extracted automatically.

You can also create a song from scratch via the "+ New Song" button and enter lyrics manually.

Song Editor

The editor organizes lyrics into sections. Each section becomes an independent slide during projection.

• Section types — Verse, Chorus, Bridge, Pre-chorus, Tag, Outro.
• Reorder — Drag-and-drop sections to change their display order.
• Metadata — Title, authors, category, CCLI number. This information is displayed in the library and can be projected.
• Navigation — A thumbnail strip at the bottom of the editor lets you switch between sections. Remember to save before closing: the song editor does not auto-save.

Per-Song Templates

Each song can have its own projection template, independent from the main Bible template. This lets you customize the visual appearance for each song.

• Background colors: solid color, gradient, or image.
• Font: family, size, text color.
• Text alignment: left, center, right.
• Shadow effects to improve readability on busy backgrounds.
• The song template editor shares its interface with the other editors: Layers panel on the left, tabbed properties, “Align to page”, bundled fonts and automatic text fitting (see the Templates page).

Song Playlists

Playlists let you organize the worship service order. Prepare your song list in advance and navigate between them during the service.

• The left column lists your playlists: drag a song from the library straight onto a playlist to add it.
• You can also add songs or individual slides to the active playlist with the + button.
• Reorder by drag-and-drop.
• Project an individual slide by clicking it in the playlist.
• Combine Bible verses and songs in the same playlist for a complete service.
