Playlist

Playlist Overview

The playlist is a mixed-content list designed to structure your service. It combines Bible verses, songs, images, videos, audio, and free slides into a single ordered flow.

  • Drag and drop to reorder items
  • Filter by category: video, audio, image, slide
  • Mixed content in a single list

Adding Content

Several ways to add content to your playlist:

  • Add the currently selected verse
  • Add a song or song slide
  • Add media from the library (image, video, audio)
  • Create free text slides for announcements, quotes, or greetings

Free Slides

Create custom slides via the "+" button. Ideal for announcements, quotes, or welcome messages. They open in the slide editor (auto-fitted text, widgets, image tools, animated backgrounds) and stay editable at any time — see the Templates page for the editor details.

Tip: 3 to 5 lines per slide are recommended for optimal readability on the projection screen.

Playlist panel

Since version 1.1.21, your playlists are listed in a persistent panel on the left of the page, resizable and hideable from the side rail.

  • Search by name and filter by category.
  • “Sort and filter” menu: last modified, created, name, item count, period, empty playlists.
  • Service date: each playlist can carry the date of the service (when creating or via “Edit”). Sort by service date to see playlists grouped by month, next service first.
  • Duplicate: on hover or from the menu, copy with or without its items, name suggested automatically — perfect for starting from last week's service.
  • Safe deletion: the app asks whether the items go too (items used elsewhere are always kept) and an “Undo” button stays available for 8 seconds.

PowerPoint import and sharing

  • PowerPoint import (.pptx) Drop your presentation: it becomes a playlist with faithful thumbnails. Desktop app only; slides are converted to images (no re-editable elements) via LibreOffice, free — the app guides you if it is not installed.
  • Playlist export / import Share a complete playlist between machines as a JSON file, with embedded images.

Autoplay

Autoplay mode advances slides automatically. Configure the duration per slide (1-120 seconds) and transition delay (0-10 seconds). A green progress bar indicates the remaining time.

  • Manual override available at any time
  • Ideal for announcement slideshows
  • Perfect for musical backgrounds with images
